Elliott Reed is the founder, co-owner, and now retired massage therapist at IMR Massage. His passion for helping others and learning about the human body led him to a career in massage therapy. Reed graduated from West Side Technical Institute in Winter Garden, FL in 2005. He began his massage career in Atlanta, Ga and relocated to Las Vegas in 2007. Reed has worked for chiropractors and high-end spas building experience, skills, and knowledge in the massage industry.
In 2009, Reed founded Integrative Muscular Rehabilitation, LLC (IMR Massage) which began as just out-call massage service. Reed wanted to start a company that focused on sports therapy and injury rehab as opposed to “relaxation massage”, which seemed like many other massage companies were offering at the time.
Reed would drive around with his equipment to homes and hotel rooms offering massages on-site. He later sub-leased a room inside the Pearl Medspa where IMR had its first location. On January 17th 2017, Reed and Erica opened IMR Massageʼs first stand alone location in Las Vegas. The facility now consists of 5 treatment rooms with plans to expand in the near future.
Reed is certified in medical massage, advanced deep tissue techniques, sports stretching, reflexology, cupping therapy, Rock Tape, and IASTM. “I help people recover from car accidents, sports injuries, pathological conditions, stress, and chronic pain. With my experience and training, I am confident that I can relieve your pain or the condition that prevents you from living life to the fullest. I have one goal for my clients: make you feel better! I also believe it is critical to educate you as to the cause of your pain and what you can do at home and in between massage sessions to make you feel better. Your wellness is my #1 priority!”
Elliott retired from massaging clients in September 2018 and is now focusing on growing and managing a float therapy center, IMR Float in Henderson, NV.
