‘Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter, don’t mind’ – Dr. Seuss
Growing up, I’ve always been athletic; I love to hike, climb, lift, and play whenever I can. So you’d think that’s why I chose to become a massage therapist. Nah. I never actually had a real massage until after I became a therapist. No, I was told I have strong hands. Ah, the power of suggestion. I very much enjoy helping people feel better and I love to learn. Being a massage therapist has allowed me to put both of these loves into action. That’s why I do what I do.
Working for IMR is the perfect fit for my style of massage. When you come in with a specific issue, I can use what I’ve learned from experience and the resources I have here to relieve the pain.
As much as I love my job, my life revolves around my full-time ministry work. I am currently learning the Thai language so I can study the Bible with Thai people in their language. I also volunteer on construction projects, building or renovating places of worship. When I’m not busy doing these things, I’m traveling. So there you have it. 🙂
